Hello! My name is Shane M. Butler and I am a video producer.
My interest in film began with a love of Seinfeld that morphed into an obsession with all things film and television. After writing and directing two indie micro-budget feature films during my time at Boston University, I ventured into the real world.
At Northern Light Productions, I worked as an associate producer, working on a wide range of interesting projects, from a D-Day touch-screen interactive at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library to The Hunt for Bin Laden on the History Channel.
In 2021, I began my time at Harvard University’s Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning, where I’ve been lucky enough to work with illustrious faculty such as Arthur Brooks, Mahzarin Banaji, and Eric Rosenbach on online courses and content that have taken me across the country.
Whether it's a commercial, an Instagram video, a narrative short film, or a history documentary, I will ensure every video meets the highest standards and accomplishes what you want.
